If your in the market for home security add this NVR setup to your list. Purchased to add as an addition to a hard wired system, but ultimately decided to upgrade and replace the existing. The NVR setup was a breeze, each camera is pre-configured to the NVR unit eliminating the need for complicated IP addressing and advanced setups. Recommend keeping NVR in a location with equal distances to the camera, making the NVR the center of the camera network (Camera response time/LAG can be affected by this distance)Overall this system rates 5 star and only takes an average skill level 3/5 for DIY'ers.
