There is a lot to like about this device. It’s like having 2 devices in one. I’l start with the phone charger. It is a faster charger that works great charging both my iPhone SE (shown in picture) and my iPhone 13 Pro Max which is a pretty large phone. The cradle and “MagSafe” like charging pad make it virtually dummy proof — meaning that if you set it into the cradle it will charge. You don’t have to worry about getting it perfectly centered like you do with some Qi chargers. It works great on my desk, so if I get a notification of an email, text, or whatever, I can very easily see what it is without having to pick up the phone. I really like this charger!The other part of this device which is equally amazing is the hidden camera hidden in the base. The camera can be panned from right to left in the app. That allows for a very large field of view which has got to be close to 180 degrees. That is really nice, because obviously the charger itself doesn’t move on its own, but the interior camera does move. I have this sitting on my desk in my home office. Very often I will push my high-back chair in and it would normally block a fixed camera, but because the camera can rotate left and right I can move the camera to get a pretty good view of the office. It’s useful if I am away from home and can’t remember if I shut my computer down or not or just want to look around the room to see what’s going on, or if I forgot something on the desk, or whatever.The camera is capable of 4K video which is nice, and it can work on a 5 GHz WiFi network which is great, because they are less crowded (I have a whole house full of smart devices — i.e. smart light switches, smart bulbs, etc.) that can only work on the 2.4 GHz band. Not to mention that the 5 GHz band is a lot faster. The video is not choppy at all, even in 4K resolution. The camera also has a “night mode” which allows it to see in very low light. However, unfortunately the camera does not have any IR lights to illuminate a pitch black room. For me that is not a deal breaker, because I have a smart lamp near it and can turn on the light remotely and look around the room.I really like this charger and the hidden, rotatable camera. Both are great in an of themselves, but together they are really awesome. Every other camera I have ever had has always been fixed, which obviously has its limitations. But being able to rotate the camera to see the entire room is a really awesome feature! The noise that the camera makes when it is moving is pretty quiet, but you can hear it if you listen for it.I guarantee you that unless someone knows that it is a phone charger AND a hidden camera, they would never be able to figure out that it is a camera as well. Certainly not from a casual glance. However, I respect the privacy of others as I would expect for myself. I would never personally put this camera in a location where a person should expect privacy. I don’t use it to spy on anyone. I use it as a security camera and also to be able to look around my office to see if I left something on my desk that I need or to ensure that the computer is off, and stuff like that.I can also envision that someone could use this device in a public area of their house to keep an eye on their children or pets. It is nothing if not discrete! Put a micro-SD card in it and you can record video on it until the card is full and then it will just start to overwrite itself. The nice thing about that is it is all done on the device. No need to pay a monthly subscription for cloud storage.I highly recommend this phone charger with hidden, rotatable camera!I really just wanted a wireless charger for my phones that didn't rely on a weak USB connection that would get temperamental with time and use. This fit the bill. It also doesn't have a front facing indicator light that shines into my face keeping me awake at night like a lot of other chargers I've tried in the past few years with various blue/green/red LEDs in different places. There is a little green light on the back to tell you the power cable is plugged in, I don't seem to notice this as much as other indicator lights on other devices.For me the main selling point on this device is having a wireless charger that has a nice big sturdy metal electrical plug rather than USB cables and having to supply your own USB wallwart/powersupply.You can turn the camera function on or off with a switch in the base of the unit. I feel like having this being an inline switch under the base is nice to know nothing is accessing the camera feed when you want it disabled.Over all nice/cool/useful device.Finally a spy item where you really can’t see the camera built into this charger!! The charger works amazing. Too as it fully charged my phone fast. It has a nice cradle style dock that leaves my phone upright so I can see notifications easily or even watch my videos handsfree. It’s mag safe and works with my case on too! I got this mostly so I can keep an eye on my home when at work and see my ? puppy . I have a lot of remodeling going on so it’s also nice to check in on the workers too. I just had to download an app on my phone and I could see in real time what was going on at home. I can even move the camera from left to right with the app. It’s very impressive especially at this price point. Video quality is good!The panning feature works well but is audible in the video which is too be expected. Better clarity for motion sensor with lights on or pitch black. Realistically I wouldn't use the panning in a videocapture just to set initial positioning bc you can hear the little motor moving.Microphone is on the bottom! Remove bottom door to improve microphone clarity.Notifications worked well when my mobile is on the same wifi and iirc on data too though I will verify and change rating if they do not.Item was better than I expected! Video quality was great for 2k/4k video capture and photos in daylight and nightmode. Setup was a bit confusing but I eventually was able to connect the camera to my wifi thru the app. First had to set up as a new device, then add the camera again as a device already on my network. At 2k the resolution is good and not much lag, but at 4k there is some lag but resolution is noticeably better. You can hear the motor if your rotating the camera through the app but otherwise it’s pretty discreet. Wireless charging also works!Before this product, I had never thought to combine a wireless charger with a security camera. The device itself is well-made. You need to read the instructions carefully to understand how to use it, but I did not have too much trouble setting it up. It is cool and discreet to keep around, especially when you want to monitor and record the inside of your house covertly.The device work perfectly as describedThe product is very helpful and inconspicuous.
