What I really liked (and makes this camera better than what its own manual says):1. The manual claims that you can use a micro SD memory card 8 - 64 GB, but I "mistakenly" bought a 256 GB card when I ordered the camera, before I had a chance to read the manual (yeah, I'm the kind of guy who reads the manual!). The 256 GB card turned out to be working perfectly and, according to my estimation, will be able to hold ~19 hours of 4K video.2. The manual says that you can't download the highest resolution video (4K and 2.7K) over Wi-Fi to iPhone or iPad using the app, and that you need to transfer these high res videos from the memory card using a memory card adapter. I had no problem transferring both 4K and 2.7K over Wi-Fi using the app.3. The manual says that, in order to use the remote, the camera needs to be turned on (duh!) and in the exact mode you need to use, i.e. video mode if you will use the video button on the remote, and photo mode if you are going to use the photo button, which would mean that the remote would have a very limited usefulness. However, I found out that the only requirement is that the camera is on, but the more doesn't matter. It will start/stop video or take a photo depending only on which remote button you push, which is great!4. I don't recall if they say what the battery life is supposed to be, but I have recorded ~90 minutes of 4K video (assuming that the screen saver is on), on each of the two batteries I received, which is quite good.5. Nice set of accessories.6. Everything else seems to be working more or less as advertised, but see below my remarks regarding EIS.7. The price! What I liked less:1. The Amazon page clearly says that the camera comes with 3 batteries (one in the camera and two among the accessories), which was the main reason I chose this one instead of others with the same specs and price. I only received two batteries, i.e. one in the camera and only another one in the accessory box.2. I tested the image stabilization by attaching the camera to the handlebar of my bike and recording 4K video while I ride, with EIS on. The electronic stabilization works by warping the image in weird and unpleasant ways, so it seems better to just turn it off and learn to live with the vibrations - at least it looks more natural. I wonder how much better the image stabilization in a much more expensive camera (e.g. GoPro) is. Still, 4K video taken without the bike vibration looks great!3. I tested both 2.7K and 4K video, because my monitor is 2.7K, and I was thinking that I'll save memory space by recording 2.7K. What I found out is that the quality of 2.7K video on a 2.7K monitor is much worse than 4K on the same monitor. On the other hand, the memory card usage for 2.7K video is exactly the same as 4K video (go figure why - must be a software bug), so there is no reason to record 2.7K.4. The iPhone app they recommend to use with this camera is quite generic (doesn't seem to be for this particular brand/model) and is very limited: I had a similar camera I bought many years ago (much lower resolution, different brand), and that one had a much better iPhone app than this one. However, once I have a remote, I would rarely use the app (if ever), so not a big deal for me.5. For some reason, when I put the SD memory card in an adapter, stick it in my PC and access it as an external drive in File Explorer, I'm unable to rename or delete the files from the memory card, even as an administrator. The only way to delete them is in the camera, and there is no way to rename them. Not a big deal, just a little annoying (and puzzling).Bottom line, I think the camera is really good for the price, and I'd say that most issues I found are minor. I might even update my review from 4 to 5 stars, if they send me the missing battery...Overwhelming amount of pieces. We got it to work and it did a great job.You will need to buy a micro SD card separately for it to take pictures or videos.I've had this camera for about a week now and taken a few hours of video and time lapse. So far it seems pretty good. Before this I was using my phone and this is much easier and at least as good of quality.Arrived as it should step son lives it will be used thoroughly throughout the mx seasonWow… I have tried three action cameras that were more expensive then this and was so disappointed that I returned them all. The last camera I owned was a go-pro and since it was such an older version I needed a new one but didn’t want to pay the price. I take this action camera on my bike rides and am blown away with the quality and ease of use. It is so reliable unlike the others I tried before landing on this one. It’s a steal for the price!going on vacation, this product may be useful for underwater shotsIt did not connect to iPhone. But finally connected to iPad. It has so many stuff yet no separate battery charger. You have to put the one battery in the camera to charge. Take it out, put the next one. A separate battery charger would be nice.Haven’t actually used it yet but I’m surprised by the build quality and the instructions. Only disappointment is that one of the mounting brackets came broken in the package. A bit of a downer when my son opened it for his birthday. I’ll be contacting the seller. The camera is great records without issue i use it to record airsoft games with a helmet mount and for the price quality is exactly how you think it would be honestly great first camera if you don't wanna break the bank!So excited to have receieved this product. Will not be able to put it to full use until next week when I arrive in Hawaii, but am glad the camera came with two batteries, and tons of mounting equipment. So far so good. arrived promptly.I returned this item the day after. I was looking for a decent image quality but i couldn’t ever image this poor quality image. Do not buyDown button on the waterproof case doesn't work, so I'm returning the camera.
