Quality unit, able to stream 1080p @ 60HZ and 2160p @ 30 Hz. Only drawback is there is no remote with the unit, it will pair out of the box at 1080p, but you need to press the little menu button on the receiver, the one with the antennas, to switch to 2160p. Once changed it will remain in whatever mode you have selected.This item does what it is supposed to do. I got this to use for my computer to broadcast onto a TV. The only thing I just couldn't get used to was the lag time from moving the mouse. Wouldn't be a big deal if you were just watching a movie or something.I spoke at a church that needed a connection to the back. It worked great! Using a pc, it was a simple hookup to their system, great picture quality, no delays, and no hassles.It did exactly what I wanted. Sturdiness and quality of the transmitter and receiver was better than expected. The transmitter does tend to run hot but does not affect quality. Great product for the price.Product is very simple to use and I am pleased with the result. It emanates the 20’ HDMI cable I use to connect my tv and laptop that everyone always trips on! Comes with everything you will need to set up the recover and transmitter. The mini HDMI cable and usb connect to TV for the recover and the transmitter and usb connect to the laptop. Also if you lose the instructions they are displayed on the even while setting upOverall I would highly recommend !Got this for my office display after being disappointed with the wireless pairing options available. Does a really good job and less lag than options available for free through appsQuality is great and it works as it should. Set up is not bad, just really depends on how tech savvy you are but I have seen worse. It's great that it removes the need for a cable and can come in handy if one wanted to move their TV but not wanting a long cord or having to figure out how to hide one (of course you'd have to point the remote where the box (cable) would be and not the TV).Overall I like it and would recommend checking it out.We use this wireless HDMI link in a modern church building to convey video output from a computer an overhead projector, replacing a very long VGA cable that had never worked well and was now damaged. The system was easy to set up, works very well, and has the added bonus of Apple's Airplay compatibility. However, most of the time we will transmit using the supplied 'puck' device connected to a laptop computer, with the VGA port on the receiver connected to the projector.Buyers should be advised they will need a 10 Watt USB power supply for the receiver end, and they may also need to provide power for the transmitter too, either from another 10 Watt power supply or a USB socket on the computer (if that is the source of the video signal). Without enough power the transmitter puck's LED may still light up even though it can't operate properly. Note that the two supplied power cables have type C connectors for the device end and type A connectors for the power supply end, so it is regular USB power supplies you want, not fancy USB-C ones.This is probably the best wireless HDMI unit I've used so far. I tried at least two others in the past (one expensive and one cheap), but none did the job. In fact, they are rubbish compared to this one. I'm really very impressed.Used this to connect Nintendo Switch to TV. Had the additional power sources plugged into both transmitter and receiver but the picture quality is very poor.Picture freezes every few seconds - totally unplayable.Tested it out at zero distance - cheap rubbish for a hefty price tag.Unfortunately a quick return to amazon on this one.
